The Sweetest Little Boy

I was talking to my dear friend Laura this weekend about Liam and she said that it was really sweet and I should blog about it since it's a nice story and most of my posts are "here's a pic of what we did". Laura is not usually the emotional type, so I figured if she commented that i should write something more serious then it was time.
Liam is such a joy! I was just overwhelmed by how precious Liam is yesterday. He does the cutest shrug his shoulders big grin looking at you thing. He will crack him self up while playing and just keep giggling. He has started raising his hand randomly in a hile Hitler fashion till you make eye contact or give him a high five. He is an incredible eater and have a very well developed palette. He plays peek a boo with everything. And, he just genuinely likes to have a good time.
Every time he would do anything yesterday i just got overwhelmed with happiness and was soo thankful for the joy he has added to our lives.
Then it clicked, he is finally back to himself, he is finally well. He would always be this way and I wouldn't have noticed the difference in his deminer if he hadn't had been sick for 3 weeks strait! (a double ear infection followed by a throat infection). And then the guilt began setting in. He has been to the dr for sick visits about 10 times and he isn't even a year old. He doesn't go to daycare so my choices are exposing him to germs. I am usually pretty lax about germs and i need to buckle up when it comes to Liam. I don't always wash his hands before he eats because he is STARVING and I am in such a hurry. I don't was his hands and feet after we play at church or with friend or at the park etc etc... I am not very good with little yet extremely important things like locking doors and keeping my phone around to answer it (most of you are nodding you head I'm sure). But keeping at least the easily banishable germs away from my precious little one is my new goal!!! Thanks for reading my rantings, less emotional and personal blogs to follow :)

3 smiles?

Trying to get three kids under 5 to smile for one picture is an impossibility.
But, they still look super cute. Trinity and Sye joined us for a recent playdate at Church. Gavin was there too, but he is too fast even for a pic, nevermind a smile :)

endless hours of entertainment

After this episode of fun this morning Micah said to Liam, "you provide endless hours of entertainment". I wonder if Liam was thinking the same thing about us?

Off to work

A few days ago Liam became obsessed with this photo album book toy and started carrying it around with him everywhere. I think it looks like a little briefcase, Micah was calling it a purse, you decide.

One Sick Monkey

Little Liam got sick again this week! I took him to the dr Monday and he had a double ear infection. Bummer. He is on meds and feeling better, almost back to normal. Why is he in a monkey costume you ask? Well, you will have to wait and see, it might just have something to do with his birthday party :)

Whoa Nelley!!!

Liam is quite taken back by the size of this cucumber. As you can see, we have a huge cucumber harvest this year! Be sure to take one home next time you come over.
